As we saw earlier, what we think about a situation controls us, not what actually happened. That is, the past cannot affect us in the natural – now. However, when it comes to the spiritual world, what happens to us today can have its roots in the past.
So what do we mean by Curses and blessings?
A ‘curse’ is the unbreakable or unstoppable result when some sin or iniquity is committed. It is the consequence that follows us when unrepentant actions by ourselves, or others, have offended God. A blessing also has unstoppable consequences from having God’s favour in some way. Read more... (929 words, 3 images, estimated 3:43 mins reading time)

God’s Plan before time began: WE ARE AT WAR!
Once there was only one Spirit Being, we call ‘God’. God’s Great Plan began in the spiritual dimension first. We are designed to live in a spiritual as well as physical world. There is only one spiritual world with two kingdoms (Ephesians 2:2, Matthew 6:33). Satan and his demons are real (Matthew 4:10).
The battle is fought in the spiritual dimension first and then manifests in the physical/emotional realm. The results are either health or dis-ease. Much of the pain and illness we experience is because we have broken God’s basic spiritual principles. Much of pain and sickness is the result of lifestyle: Susan’s migraines. Read more... As we continue looking at the journey from being a Slave to the World’s way of thinking and behaving, we need a complete change of response. The concept of ‘Personal Spiritual Warfare’ is new for some people. Some people don’t believe we are in a battle or that we have a spiritual world out there that is against Godly things.
However, when we begin to see with spiritual eyes, the real world becomes more relevant! Sad to say, we often give the enemy of our souls ‘legal rights’, which then become our personal ‘battlefield’. This Battlefield is in our mind and in our Heart! Read more... (1241 words, 5 images, estimated 4:58 mins reading time)

As we continue looking at the theme of growing from slaves to the world’s ways, through servanthood, we need to continue to focus on our personal growth. In centuries past, new Christians were given a good cleaning time before expected to be mature. In today’s church world, often new converts are just ;thrown in the deep end’ and expected to grow and serve the ‘religious system church’.
Sad to say, what that produces is ‘serving orphans’. We need time and space with the Lord to deal with our own ‘heart stuff’ to really grow in our walk with the Lord. That is what ‘Sanctification’ is all about. Read more... (1054 words, 5 images, estimated 4:13 mins reading time)

So far in our discussion on the growth from Slave to Steward, we have discussed the basics on who and what the Holy Spirit does in our walk with God and the importance of learning to hear His voice.
Are we going to stay true to Him or give into doubt and our fears with enemy at our backs? This is the place where we dedicate our lives to Him, usually followed by water baptism as the symbol of crossing the Red Sea. Read more... (1119 words, 3 images, estimated 4:29 mins reading time)
