3/5c The Strategies of the Humanist viewpoint to Christian Foundations
The Strategies of the Humanist Movement to the Christian faith are many.
1. Take over teaching institutions, allowing the power of the state to control what is taught, which of course, will be Secular Humanism. Deny the teaching of any traditional Christian values to the young. A deliberate moral ‘vacuum’ will be created, so a self-centred value structure develops, all without the awareness of God.
2. Train the next generation to be moulders of public opinion, passing on the ideas of Humanism. Use the financial resources they generate in their professions to distribute humanist views.
3. Place a new generation of humanists into government, law courts and the media. Pass laws favourable to humanist causes and to persuade the majority of people to follow their programs.
Believing the lie of atheism offers the rational excuse to “…Do what you will”, to live life without accountability, ignoring the coming judgement. It is the perfect philosophy to hide the self-centred, ‘ME’ of the fallen nature of mankind.
Humanist views allow rebellion against God, parents and authority. It gives them the rationale to do every kind of evil and “…to not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” Romans 1:31
F. JESUS FORSAW MAN’S ATTEMPTS TO RULE WITHOUT GOD
The goals of the Secular Humanist should not surprise us. The Lord Jesus Christ predicted this decline in the end times: Matthew 13:29, 49, 24:3, 28:20. Other writers describe this time as well: Isaiah 2:2, Daniel 12:9, Micah 4:1, Acts 2:17, Hebrews 9:26, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Peter 3:3. The book of Revelations previews this time period, especially in Revelation 13:7-18, with the rise of the Beast and the Antichrist.
Jesus also talked about the end times as ‘wars and rumors of wars’, earthquakes and various huge natural disasters. Certainly as we face what might be a global warming, pollutions of our waters and a shortage of natural fuels, we can see how the human race would search desperately for answers to their problems.
During this time, many will think one of the best answers would be a world wide military force backed by a world wide economy. This sounds like a good ideas on some many fronts: less wastage and death by outlaw military dictators, more equality of wealth, better living standards of all. This would mean an end to the destruction and pollution of our planet….perhaps. Less religious wars and disagreements …… possibly.
When the world is desperately looking for answers, the goals of the Humanism movement will look very attractive: ‘Let’s share the wealth, do away with dictators and military strongholds, terrorists and those who violate human goals.’
All these views sound great when a world is in the depths of despair, corruption and decline as the end 
times will be. However, all these goals are without the Creator being acknowledged or involved and so are doomed to failure. Everyone Jesus Follower will then echo ‘Come quickly, Lord Jesus!”
Many of the Humanist’s goals seem very worthwhile, at first glance. However, the methods, the motives and lawlessness of Humanism will destroy mankind. It is impossible for secular Humanism, Evolution and Christianity to survive side by side in society. Only when the true King of Kings replaces the darkness with Himself will secular Humanism disappear.
G. IN CONCLUSION
Humanism and Evolution appeal to the underlying Old Nature of rebellion, pride. It emphasises the deception that mankind has the answers to life’s problems. As Paul reminds us “Men love the darkness as their deeds are evil“.
